We see those post–Labor Day tears.
And we’re going to wipe them right off with Coppersmith, an ambitiously giant establishment where you’ll eat fried-chicken sandwiches and ponder the paradox of the indoor food truck, opening Friday in South Boston.
In 1894, this was a copper foundry. Now, it’s a beer hall with 22-foot ceilings and smoked pork chops. It also houses two stationary food trucks serving separate, weekly changing menus. And come Monday, it’ll have a rooftop patio with an Airstream-turned-bar. Nice start.
