Social studies: Style tote-ally in the bag

Last Updated on May 13, 2016 by Aaron Hinchliffe

It seems like we were just hoping for a peep of spring, and now summer is already around the corner. That calls for a cute tote bag for schlepping all your office-to-beach stuff. We found two solutions that are not just adorable, they’re admirable.

Another way to indulge in a little guilt-free shopping: Local entrepreneur Lindsay Tia’s stylish event at Coppersmith in South Boston on May 24. Sales of her “Bravery bags and accessories will raise money for Massachusetts Fallen Heroes — an org that honors the memories of the men and women who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and gave their lives for their country. It also helps the families left behind.

The night features a fashion show (styled and produced by Tia and fashionista Kathy Benharris). Tickets start at $32.64 and can be purchased at eventbrite at bit.ly/1XRWiou. Ticket proceeds go right back to Fallen Heroes.
