Whether you need to get caffeinated before Monday morning meetings, while away the hours as a hard working laptop warrior or invite your Tinder crush for quick hello IRL, here’s your guide to the buzzing new coffee shops of Boston. They’re roasting some rocking beans in Beantown.
This multifaceted South Boston outfit, housed inside a massive former copper foundry, contains several distinct spaces: from a main dining room to fixed food trucks to an Airstream-equipped roof deck. There’s also the Coppersmith Cafe, which opens at 7 AM on weekdays and 8 AM on weekends. It doles out George Horwell Coffee drinks, baked treats (banana, chocolate chip and espresso muffin, anyone?) and larger breakfast noshes like chia pudding parfait and a breakfast sandwich of egg with Vermont cheddar on a muffin from Medford-based Stone & Skillet, among the local food artisans we love.
